Gencon Foundation is a family foundation established in 2007. We are dedicated to empowering organizations in British Columbia that possess the vision and capability to address complex societal and environmental challenges.

Through grant-making, our mission is to create a better world by nurturing innovative solutions that target the root causes of pressing environmental and societal challenges.

We strive to eliminate barriers by supporting many different organizations – large and small, established and emerging – and by using clear and transparent grant guidelines and reporting processes.

We believe in the power of partnerships that promote cross-sector collaboration and we encourage organizations to leverage their strengths to maximize impact.

We fund pioneering initiatives that bring fresh perspectives and solutions to environmental and societal issues.
